Plot/Outline
Originally based on the Chinese classic "Journey to the West", but in many ways deteriorated into a "who is the strongest?" series of pointless fights.
Review
I'm putting this in here not so much to explain Dragonball Z, which is a very popular series with many fans, as to note that I personally do not like it and so no reviews will be forthcoming unless somebody else writes them.
DBZ is not a series I have watched extensively. What I've seen seems to show a grouo of poseurs each trying to demostrate that they are the "strongest", best fighter, and occasionally fighting off occasional invading opponents.

Wrapup
A popular series that I dislike personally.
